Harvi used to live in a quiet, remote village near Loutraki, where only a few people live. One kind man, who only visits on weekends, had set up feeding stations to care for two stray dogs who had been living there for years. He also made sure to leave food for Harvi, though she was always too scared and cautious to let him get close. At some point, Harvi became pregnant and had four puppies. When they were about six months old, the man contacted us for help. He wanted to have Harvi spayed so she wouldn’t have more puppies, and we made plans to catch her and her little ones. Sadly, three of the puppies were poisoned. Only one puppy and Harvi survived .
After a lot of effort, we were able to catch them one Sunday and bring them to the rescue. We had Harvi tested, and it turned out she was positive for ehrlichia and anaplasma, so we immediately started her on treatment.
As the weeks went by, Harvi began to feel more comfortable. She became more relaxed around the other dogs and slowly started to trust us. She even began seeking out our attention and affection! Over time, her true, loving nature started to shine. Now weighing 27 kg, Harvi is in great health and has made remarkable progress in her socialization. She’s also been spayed and is ready for her forever home.
Harvi has been through so much, it’s finally her time to feel safe, loved, and cherished. Let’s give this beautiful girl the second chance she’s always dreamed of. Call us now to meet Harvi today!
