Alice was caught by a member of our team to be spayed, but during the surgery, it became clear that she was anemic, and she couldn’t be safely returned to where she was found. Blood tests revealed that Alice was positive for Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Babesia, so she underwent 35 days of treatment to fight these infections.
Now, Alice is doing much better. She’s a gentle and sweet girl, and she gets along wonderfully with everyone—people and dogs. Despite the struggles she’s been through, Alice is full of love and kindness, and she’s ready to give her heart to someone who will appreciate her beautiful soul. Her weight is 15 kg, a perfect size for cuddles and love!
However, life at the rescue is not always easy for Alice. She has been bullied by some other dogs, and it’s taken a toll on her. She no longer feels comfortable and has become withdrawn. She prefers to stay close to her kennel.
Please have Alice in mind if a foster home becomes available! She deserves to feel safe and loved, and we know that with the right environment, she can truly flourish. She’s come so far, and we’re hopeful that someone will open their heart and home to her soon.
