Meet Fivos, a dog with a tough past but a heart full of hope for the future. He was found abandoned in one of our member’s neighborhoods – someone tied him to a fence, and then another person let him go. We brought him to the refuge for a short stay to get neutered, but because the place was already overwhelmed, we had to release him back outside.

Soon after, we noticed that Fivos was limping, so we took him in for X-rays. The results showed he had carpal hyperextension, a condition that required arthrodesis surgery. Despite the tough road ahead, Fivos underwent surgery, where a plate was placed to stabilize his leg. The procedure was a success, and Fivos has made an amazing recovery.

With great blood test results for Mediterranean diseases and genetic conditions, he is now full of life. He runs around, full of energy and joy. His personality is as bright as his spirit, he’s a social butterfly, happy and playful, and walks beautifully on a leash. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adores being petted. He’s also fantastic with children and would make a great companion for any family.

Fivos has been through so much, but now he deserves the happy ending he’s been waiting for. He’s ready to find his forever home, where he can share his love and positivity.
