Wendy and her siblings were born into harsh conditions: They were skinny, sick, and covered in ticks. Sadly, her mother and some siblings didn’t survive, some were lost to the dangers of the streets, while others couldn’t overcome their illnesses.

Heartbroken by their condition, we couldn’t turn away. We took them to the vet, then to the rescue, giving them the care and love they desperately needed. Wendy is one of the lucky ones.

She is a sweet, shy soul that is still learning to trust, and her past has left her with some fears. As much as she longs for love, she’s cautious and hesitant around people, still healing from the tough times she faced as a puppy. She is doing very well with other dogs and weights 25 kg.
