Meet Jack, a sweet dog with a tough past, looking for a loving home. He was found as a puppy in a village near Corinth, where stray dogs bullied him. After a serious attack left him injured, a kind family that fed him before, took him in to keep him safe and built a fenced area where their own dogs wouldn’t hurt him. But Jack felt lonely and often jumped over their fence to explore. To keep him safe, they tied him up until we were asked to help.

Now at the rescue, Jack is friendly with everyone but still longs for freedom and walks. He’s formed a special bond with Wylie, another dog who is in the rescue, and together they sneak out for adventures. They come back when they’re ready, but it’s not safe for them to roam alone.

Jack tested positive for Leishmania, but it’s in the early stages, and his blood work is otherwise perfect. He takes daily medication and has no symptoms. His weight is 30 kg. Jack is a gentle, affectionate dog who needs a patient family. With time, he’ll become a loving, playful companion who craves attention and cuddles.
