Kali’s life began in the most heartbreaking way. She was hit by a car and left lying on the street, motionless. When she was rushed to the vet, she was having seizures and completely unresponsive to her surroundings. Thankfully, she had no broken bones, but the vet determined that the impact had been to her head, causing a serious neurological injury.
Day after day, Kali fought hard to survive. Slowly, she started making small but meaningful progress. First, she could hold her head up. Then, she was able to eat on her own. After that, she began crawling. As she gained strength, we moved her to the rescue, where she could continue her recovery. Now her weight is around 20-25 kg. Against all odds, Kali is able to stand and walk—maybe not perfectly straight, but she’s walking. And that’s nothing short of miraculous!
We are hopeful that with continued care, especially if she finds a loving home where she can receive physiotherapy and the attention she truly needs, Kali will continue to improve each day. She’s come so far, and she deserves so much more than a life in a rescue center. She deserves a home filled with love, patience, and the chance to thrive. Please, help us give her that chance.
