Mario and his sister were abandoned in the mountains of Loutraki. Fortunately, a kind person nearby noticed their suffering and managed to bring them into his fenced garden, where he offered them food and safety. Both puppies were terrified at first and wouldn’t approach anyone, too scared from the abandonment they had experienced.

While Marios’ sister found her forever home quickly, Mario’s journey has been a bit longer. He came to us with a mix of fear and uncertainty about human touch, but he was always gentle and sweet. He has made incredible progress (especially with other dogs) and with time, he has started to trust us more. After a month of being with us, Mario has come so far. He’s no longer the scared, shy pup he once was. He loves to jump on our backs for attention, his face is lighting up with a joyful smile every time he sees us.

Mario is a truly special boy. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of life. While he may need a little more time to fully trust humans, his progress has been nothing short of beautiful. He’s an active, playful boy who will fill your life with love, laughter, and warmth. He currently weighs 20 kilos, but he will be around 25 kilos when he’s fully grown.
