Our Shelly is a sweet and brave girl who has faced some challenges since she was a puppy, due to a knee condition (called patellar luxation). After surgery by a skilled team, her recovery unfortunately was slow, but she’s a fighter. Shelly spent months healing in a loving forest home, and recently, with joint vitamins and physiotherapy, she’s starting to use her leg more, even running and standing!

Shelly is full of energy, loves to jump on sofas, steal toys, and cuddle. She weighs 15 kg. She can be a little shy around new people at first, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes the most loyal, loving friend anyone could ever ask for. She’s especially wonderful with the new foster dogs, always ready to welcome them into her loving circle. Shelly is also fine with cats, although she’s playful with them, she’s never aggressive.

Shelly’s future family will need to be patient and understanding (as she continues to heal) but they will be richly rewarded with a sweet, loving, and incredibly loyal companion. She truly deserves the best home where she can continue her successful journey of healing, surrounded by endless love and kindness.

Could you be the special family Shelly has been waiting for? If you’re ready to open your heart to this brave and loving girl, reach out to us today. Shelly can’t wait to meet you!
