Beautiful Vergina has known so little love in her long life. For years, she was seen only as a tool: a hunting dog, not a heart. When her body grew tired and age began to slow her down, she was passed along like an object to another hunter who showed her no kindness. In the end, he abandoned her completely.

Vergina was found wandering around, frail and alone. She was so thin, her strength nearly gone, her skin raw with scabies. Miraculously, her blood tests came back good, meaning she wasn’t gravely ill; just deeply exhausted from the hardships of abandonment and life on the streets.

As she regained her strength (she now weighs around 20 kilos), she was spayed. But during surgery the vet discovered tumors in her chest and cancer in her ovaries. They were removed, and now we hold onto hope that she will be blessed with time: time to rest, to heal, and at last to know love.

Through it all, Vergina is gentle, trusting, and endlessly loving. She melts into every hug, craving the affection she has missed all her life. She longs for warmth, closeness, and the simple comfort of being someone’s treasure.

Now we dream of a forever home for her: a quiet, loving place where she can spend her final years surrounded by tenderness. She deserves the softest bed, the kindest touch, and the deepest love this world can give. After everything she’s endured, Vergina deserves to finally belong❤️
