It was just another ordinary Thursday as I headed to work. But the moment I arrived at the gate, I saw a new dog. She was skinny, weak, and in poor shape. Without hesitation, she ran behind my car and followed me all the way to my office. I immediately put out some food and water for her, hoping she’d go back home. But instead, she stayed there all day, sleeping quietly in front of the office. The next day, she was still waiting outside, looking tired and listless, barely showing any energy. It didn’t take long for me to realize that she wasn’t going anywhere, and I knew I had to help her. So, I took her with me.

A visit to the vet revealed that she was suffering from ehrlichiosis and leishmania, two serious conditions. But with the support of our wonderful foster, Eleni, and a lot of love and care, she thankfully began to heal. A month and a half later, this sweet girl has transformed into the playful, happy dog she deserves to be. She’s full of energy now, and it’s as if she’s rediscovered the joy of life! Her weight is 26 kg.

This lovely girl is set to be spayed soon, and after that, she’ll be ready to find her forever home. She’ll need to take Allopurinol every day and get a dose of Leisguard every 4 months—but with those simple treatments, she’ll live a long, happy life.

She’s come so far, and we’re so proud of her. Now, she just needs someone to love her as much as she’s loved here. Could that someone be you?
